The Old Cider House is a 4 star (previously Visit Britain) bed and breakfast in the heart of the Village of Nether Stowey, Quantock Hills, Somerset. With its five en suite bedrooms, owners Ian and Lynne welcome guests looking for a relaxing B&B break in their friendly guesthouse. If you’re looking for accommodation in the Quantocks then Nether Stowey is the ideal village location.
The B and B was built in 1910, the guesthouse was originally a cider house serving the village of Nether Stowey and surrounding Somerset villages in the Quantock Hills. It was converted into a B&B in 2002 and has since welcomed both leisure and business guests in need of quality en-suite bed and breakfast accommodation in the heart of Somerset.
The Quantock Hills are on the doorstep of the B&B and the village of Nether Stowey boasts three real ale pubs and a bistro all of which are less than a few minutes walk from the bed and breakfast.
If you are looking for an activity break, then The Old Cider House is the accommodation for you. Catering for walkers and mountain bikers, bed and breakfast guests have 60 square miles of walking country and mountain bike trails all within a mile of the B and B. So get your walking boots on or hose down that mountain bike and join us here in the Quantock Hills.

The Old Cider House is a 4 star licensed guest accommodation B&B (as graded by Enjoy England - the old English Tourist Board and Visit Britain). We provide evening meals and en suite dinner, bed and breakfast packages and we even have our own microbreweery producing real ales for the village pubs.
All rooms are en suite (showers) with tea and coffee making facilities, televisons (with Freeview), clock radios, hairdryers, toiletries, towels etc. WiFi available. Breakfast consists of; full English, vegetarian or continental and is included in the room price.
