Access Statement

We aim to cater for the needs of all our guests and should you require any particular information about access please do not hesitate to contact us on 01278 732228 or by e-mail

General – we are accessible by public transport. Trains run to Bridgwater and Taunton and there is a bus service from Bridgwater. Taxis are available from both stations.

For those with restricted mobility – we have a ground floor room which is accessible from the rear car park with no steps. Access is suitable for those with normal width wheelchairs. The bathroom is large enough to accommodate a wheelchair but the room is not fully adapted for all mobility issues. Both the dining and living rooms are also on the ground floor. We are more than happy to help with luggage etc.

For those with hearing or sight impairments – please let us know before arrival and we will do our best to help you.

Business Guests

We are used to having business guests staying with us, some of who have been regulars for more than 3 years. We are close to Hinkley Pont, Yeo Valley and firms in Bridgwater. We will prepare early breakfasts, direct billing if necessary and ensure that all female business guests are properly looked after.
All inclusive business guest rate – D,B&B and drinks £65.00

Cancellation Policy

Due to an increasing number of cancellations we request credit/debit card details from all guests booking with us. We do not process these card details unless there is a cancellation or a ‘no-show’. In this case the following policy applies:

1. In the event that you cancel after booking you will forfeit your deposit being the cost of the first night’s stay. 2. If you cancel within 10 days of your stay or fail to turn up we reserve the right to charge you the full value of the booking. 3. For block bookings of more than two rooms we reserve the right to charge the full value of the booking on cancellation at whatever time. 4. If we can re-let a room after cancellation we will give credit for nights re-let, subject to clause No. 1 applying in all cases.

Christmas and New Year 2010/2011

We will be running both Christmas and New Year breaks this year.

Pet Friendly Policy

We are a pet friendly establishment. We welcome well behaved dogs by arrangement as long as they get on with our resident labrador, Ozy and don’t eat the chickens. Owners must clear up after their pets and keep them under control at all times. We make a small charge for pets of £3.50 for the first night and £2.00 for each subsequent night.
