Then this real ale break is for you.

A weekend beer lover’s break at the Stowey Brewery, starting on Friday night with a tutored tasting and dinner - we might even sneak in a quick night-cap at one of the local pubs!

On the Saturday, we get up early and brew a real ale from scratch, boiling, mashing, sparging, hopping and fermenting – all in one day! There's plenty of hands-on experience, a chance to understand how the ingredients work and we even learn about the history of brewing.

In the evening we eat in a local pub and enjoy a fun quiz. After breakfast on Sunday we check the fermentation process before departure.
